Security Infrastructure Design for HTTP Web
Traffic
PTIS was instrumental in the design and
development of enterprise target
architecture for message level
infrastructure security for Web Services,
SOAP, XML and perimeter security for a world
renown entertainment conglomerate based in
southern California. Experience included SOA,
identity management, LDAP, WS-* standards,
WSDL, UDDI, authentication, authorization,
confidentiality, non-repudiation,
encryption, digital signatures, SAML,
certificate authorities, security policy,
HTTP attacks, WS Management, in container
visibility, XSLT transformation, EAI, etc.
RFI/RFQ/RFP, process review, proof of

SOA (Service Oriented
Architecture) & ESB Infrastructure Design
PTIS played a crucial role in the design and
development of enterprise service bus (ESB)
and SOA technology
architecture resulting in the integration of
legacy enterprise application servers in an
effort to provide a federated view of
enterprise assets, to a global audience,
utilizing Web Services. Experience included
connector development white papers, acid
transaction management, BPEL orchestration
process design, long running transaction
management, asynchronous services, SSL and
certificate management, identity management,
LDAP, remote file delivery methodology.

Digital Asset Management
Designed and developed complete supply chain
for digital music and video for EMI Music
Distribution, whose labels include Virgin,
Capitol and BlueNote records. Designed
process flow and developed software for
ripping analog content into uncompressed
digital format. Developed complete
enterprise level transaction systems which
allowed autonomous users to schedule files
to be transcoded into dozens of audio and
video formats and bit rates. Supply
chain software developed also delivered
content to internal and external business
partners (screen
shots). The complete libraries of
all subordinate labels were transcoded and
eventually delivered to iTunes, as well as
other business partners, for further
exploitation.
